As stated in the homepage, I'm a lifetime resident and fisherman of the U.P. I was fortunate to have a father that was a great outdoorsman. As a child, I learned a lot of the basics from him, and as I grew I expanded on those basics.

My accomplishments as a fisherman have included fishing the Master's Walleye Circuit Tournaments, the Michigan Walleye Trail, and many other local tournaments.

In 1997 I acquired my Captains License from the United States Coast Gaurd. I have my Master's License with an endorsment to engage in commercial towing. I have been an active charter captain since 1997. I have been featured in regional TV show and many articles in magazines that include Michigan Outdoors, Mid West Outdoors, Woods and Waters, and other publications.

I like to share my knowledge of the Great Lakes and its fish with others. Experienced or inexperienced fishermen are welcome. Families and children are welcome, I love to help children catch thier first fish. I have experience working with children since I am married and have three daughters of my own.
