what size fishing rod for surf fishing in NJ?
I already have 10 feet lamiglas with Penn 525 Mag. I mostly just throw bait with him though. I am looking to get another one ready to attract when it comes from blitz. I have some questions though. what rod length should I get?
10 feet is fine. If you try a 10.6 "or 11" can effect casting ability, but higher rod gives you more power to fight big bass or bluefish. If you throw bait, lightweight 10 "or as St. Croix lamiglas Prime Minister well.
