Plastic boxes bulging with topwater lures, jerk baits, crankbaits, swim baits and spinner baits were scattered all over the front deck of my boat by the time I finally spotted the white Daleyâs sack wedged between another box of spoons and... The unplanned inventorying did not include the boxes of jig heads and terminal tackle, thirty pounds of plastic tails and nine rods also on board. Please give me some tips on what to use and how to use it. i agree, try a texas rig with a 3/0 worm hook and a zoom trick worm or a zoom u-tail worm. I picked up some equipment, including 3/0 sized hooks, Zoom baby brush hog plastic lures (green), plastic worms (green), and black frog shaped plastic lures with neon green tails. ive personally also had some good fish on a shakey head rig, i use an eigth ounce shakey jig head and powerbait shakey worms. in rare instances ill try a mepps spinner if i can see the fish but cant seem to get hin to strike, youll get a lot of instinct strikes from fish this way. I have only had luck catching a few small bass using Powerbait Atomic Teaser lures. I have also used live worms. Standing on the bank, I can see several very large bass, along with some medium sized ones.
