The Ocean County College sailing team hosts the annual regional championship for "club" teams Saturday and Sunday on the Toms River. noted sailing commentator and New Jersey native Gary Jobson will present a look at long-distance racing, focusing on the tragic 1979 Fastnet Race and the 1998 Sydney to Hobart Race in Australia. At some colleges the sailing teams have varsity status while at others they are considered clubs. You can do some armchair sailing in front of the tube as ESPN Classic presents Super Sailing Saturday. Thirty-six short races are scheduled for the two-day event and may be watched from the Toms River Yacht Club dock....
