My tank & Java fern reproduction
As much as its supposed to be a slow grower its amazing and looks nice, pearls up, and is EASY to make happy. I got some Java Fern from a friend and I just took a wedge slice from her mat of it. In splitting it all apart I ended up with 50-100 small plantlets that had grown off the parent plants. One of my java ferns is producing quite a few plantlets. I have a feeling my modestly planted tank is going to be getting more planted. Have to say that my first experience with owning an aquarium (planted or otherwise) is turning out pretty well.
