Matthew Owens – A Case Neglected?
It had been reported that Matthew Owens has retained the services of Mobile, Ala attorney Alexander Almond. The media seems to be fixated on the George Zimmerman – Trayvon Martin story, but the Matthew Owens story is just as disturbing. One thing is clear, Matthew Owens is not making this up, a picture is worth a 1000 words, and this picture says it all. The Matthew Owens story is a complex one. The News Media works in strange ways, they tend to act like Guppy’s in a fish tank. Owens was beat into an unconscious state by at least one person, but possibly more, while a larger group allegedly stood by and did nothing. Nice fight, nice fish, But I released it back so my kids can get lucky someday too. I fished on bottom with Sea lice which turned out a nice Redfish. Almost don't feel them biting, but if your patient you can get a few decent fish. Since it was windy I didn't want to go out in the boat so I fished the Ship Channel off of Highway 48.

Welcome to southeast North Carolina fishing and weather, everyday is different and the fishing will be different as well. So here is the fishing report>>>. The speckled trout have been hit and miss lately, some days we catch them good some days not as many. When we are using grubs these are some of the patterns that are catching trout. When I’m looking for bigger trout, I turn too the live shrimp, not to say that big trout will not hit lures. I don’t use a lot of floro, but I do for speckled trout fishing. You can catch fish during colder weather and/or winters. Some other colors that are producing well are salt pepper, space guppy and pearl. But for ease of fishing with charters. Grub colors by Saltwater Assassin’s that have really done well are chicken on a chain and chart-diamond. live shrimp has worked, as well as grubs have. live shrimp do the trick time and time again. We rig the grubs on jig heads in colors black and red....
