Do circle hooks work well for channel catfish in the summer?
I was wondering if circle hooks work well for channel cats in the summer. I've heard that their bite is very lazy during the warm months and was wondering if circle hook is the way to go?
Circle hooks for the channel? Of course! This is what my channel poles are equipped with right now. And they say that there are lazy bite now? Last week I had £ 4 channels almost detached pole from my hand.

I have read a bit recently about the increasing use of circle hooks on some of the big GT lures for example , and from my limited understanding so far, they seem to be working just fine for those anglers who are using them correctly. Lure shape aside, it is of course the fact that this little lure comes in the box already rigged with two circle hooks.
